June 12, 2021 is going to be the biggest leap of faith, I have ever taken. I am going to expose the story of my life to thousands of people. (Breathe Ruby Girl) I have signed up to speak on a international platform. I want to be prepared to speak flawless. I am doing something I never do and that's practice my speech. While putting together my speech, God showed me a wonderful revelation about Ruby Girl and Proverbs 31:10. Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
Ruby Girl is not just a catchy name but it is restoration for women. Women are oppressed, discriminated against and disrespected because they are considered to be the weaker sex. Yet we are the ones who are the single mothers who raise children while working full-time. We are the ones that have a man's back when he makes a mistake. Chile, please don't get me started. We may be the weaker sex when it comes to physical strength but we are able to stand strong in the face of adversity and hardship.
Some women have allowed disrespect to become their normal. I have a associate who picks the worse type of men. She even admits that she picks men who don't treat her right! Now, she is tough and can handle being with these type of men but why do she even think this what she deserves? I was watching a Facebook live on her page and she was on a trip with her newest man. This man talked so rough and disrespectful to her that I wanted to call her and tell her to get away from that man. He didn't care that she was recording him. He cursed at her and berated her. She smiled like he was saying the most sweet and loving things to her. Sadly, this is her norm. The last boyfriend she had, she stabbed him because he tried to rape her. I am in no way judging her but what makes a woman make choices like this? I can give you the standard answer and say low-self esteem, but no...she doesn't love herself.
According to I Corinthians 12:4-7, when you love someone/yourself, you protective and kind, and keep who you love/yourself from dishonor. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
This is why it is important for women to know they are Ruby Girls. Proverbs 31:10 compares our value to the price of a Ruby. God says our price or WORTH is far above the price of a ruby. God didn't say we are five or a thousand dollars more than a price of a ruby, he gives an unmeasurable value of our worth. Just think, no matter how expensive a Ruby is, we are worth more than the estimation of its value. We are God's Priceless Princesses. God is trying to tell us that the world might undervalue us but he never will. We are so precious to God that he created us from flesh and not the dust of the earth. His daughters were created to be clean and free from the debris of this world. That's some kind of special!
If you have been raped or molested, your innocence was taken from you. You gave no consent to the act that happened to you. Proverbs 31:10 restores your innocence because God refers to you as a virtuous woman. Virtuous means having or showing high moral standards and being chaste. Identifying as a Ruby Girl restores what the enemy has taken from you. You can claim your virtue back ladies. Daughter of God, you are forgiven and God has reset your offenses to zero. You have a clean slate, Glory to God. I like to refer to myself as a refurbished (clean up, restore) virgin. God has taken my shame and restored it to purity. Where I once gave myself freely to a man, now I know he must pay the price of marriage in order to have access to my body!
Last, you can establish a new identity when you become a Ruby Girl! You now recognize your worth and that you are royalty. You will not be talked to or treated any kind of way. Your Father is a King, a Lord of lords! His riches are limitless and his powers are unstoppable. He has legions of angels waiting for his instructions. His dwelling place has gold floors, gates with pearls and chariots of fire. Why would you not want to identify as his daughter? Your new identity makes you rare because, virtuous women are hard to find. Ruby Girl you have worth and value. A man should see that he has a rare jewel and treat you as such. A valuable jewel is kept safe and secure. Everyone doesn't have access to it. Only the one that has paid the price is the owner. Jesus paid the price for us on Calvary and our bodies belong to him. We are ready to be a living sacrifice and we are sanctified, set apart, for the Master's use! I am praying my associate would understand that she is God's valued daughter and she deserves a man that will love her like Christ loves the church. Until she loves herself, she will always chose men who don't love her.
